# Facilitator

> AlgoVoi's stateless on chain x402 facilitator confirms a transaction matches the payment request and returns a verdict only, with no custody and no state.

The Facilitator confirms that an on-chain transaction matches the parameters of a payment request. It runs in active-passive configuration for resilience and holds no tenant state.
